Invercargill is just 20 minutes away. The Southern Scenic Route is close by and guests are conveniently situated to visit places of interest in the area. Fly or take the boat to Stewart Island, drive to Fiordland, Te Anau, or Queenstown. Over the past seven years Tudor Park has been refurbished with quality furnishings and the owners antique furniture. The house is set in 20 acres of the best fertile Southland farmland with three acres in garden and another one acre utilised for the growing of Paeonies for commercial cut flowers. On the remaining pastures sheep and lambs graze. Often there is one of John’s racehorses home spelling and over the summer season the show team of Stud Simmental Cattle are home to graze. Tudor Park accommodation is comfortable and private “the best beds we have slept in New Zealand” is a frequent comment from guests.
